Friday Update:

A hearty Thank You to all the folks who bought their tickets in advance. We are psyched to go into the closing weekend with a full house. The actors get energy from the audience and vice versa, that's what's so special about live theater. And the energy is building already. Are you feeling it? I'm feeling it. Tonight's gonna be a good night. :)

Hi, this is Eric speaking to you btw. I am but a humble web monkey making an update to the TDJ home page on Friday morning, and I'd like to head off a couple of questions as best I can.

Q: Will there be tickets available at the door?
A: Nope. Can't do it. We are at capacity and, while we'd love to pack y'all in to the rafters, the powers that be tell me that's some kind of code violation. Go figure. Hope you understand. Join us on Facebook to see what we're up to, and/or send an email to to get on our email list and we'll give you a heads-up for our next show.

Q: I didn't get a ticket in the mail. Do I have a reservation?
A: Yes. We are using Paypal to process orders for tickets. When you paid for your advance ticket(s) Paypal sent us an email with your name and payment info. Paypal also sent you an email. We have been paying attention to this very closely and are confident that we have all of the names and proper quantity of tickets sold for the Friday and Saturday shows. I'll tell you what I told my mom when she called.

MOM: Eric, this is so confusing, I don't know what's going on!
ERIC: Chillax Mom, we got your order. You are on the guest list.
MOM: Ok, but I didn't get any tickets in the mail.
ERIC: There are no physical tickets. It's done electronically nowadays. You got an email from Paypal didn't you?
MOM: Yes.
ERIC: And it's for the date you wanted, right?
MOM: Yes.
ERIC: Well, consider that your ticket. You can print it out and bring it with you if you'd like, but rest assured we have you on the guest list for that night.
MOM: Can I call someone to double-check? I just want to be sure.
ERIC: Geez, Louise! I'm telling you Mom, you're on the list. Everything will be ok.
MOM: What do you know? You can't even access the Paypal API to generate a customized reply email for each sale. Your skillz are weak. What kind of web monkey did I raise?
ERIC: Yeah, you're right, I know. I will work harder to explain and improve the ticket buying process for next time.
MOM: Ok. Love you hon.
ERIC: Love you too Mom.

I am updating this Friday in the AM and I am heading down to the theater soon. Sue will be monitoring the email and the phone messages up until about 6:00 tonight. After that we're all down at the theater.

I'm a long-winded web monkey aren't I? Just trying to help. - Eric

After you complete your transaction with Paypal you will receive a confirmation email. There is no ticket that needs to be printed out, it's all electronic! We will have your name and ticket info on the guest list for the evening you specified. If you have any questions you can contact us at or leave a message at 507-722-1854 and we'll get back to you.
